Square Remodeling and Underground Carpark

Bucharest, Romania

2002

The “Gara de Nord” station, one of the busiest parts of Bucharest has been rehabilitated and a sixty thousand square meter underground garage, bus stops and shopping spaces are connected to the main train station. The top of the building is arranged as a pedestrian square. The most intriguing parts of the project are the underground water control and engineering services.
