Summer House
Bodrum, Muğla, Turkey
1985
Natural stone columns are topped with concrete beams and a thin slab with embedded cut bottles to allow light rays to diffuse. The columns are placed two and a half meters apart in both directions allowing to have nine independent and flexible spaces which are to be separated with curtains. The closed sleeping space is created by means of the ‘wall kitchen’. The cylindrical toilet serves the guests. Movement among the columns, allows for many different views.
